Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to Starter and Pro subscriptions bought on bidnotes.ai. Business subscriptions follow the terms in their quote or order form.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Manage billing, or by asking us through the support form.
If you cancel during your free trial, you won’t be charged.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, and you won’t be charged again.
If you change your mind before the period ends, you can turn renewal back on from Manage billing.

Refunds

First payment guarantee. If BidNotes isn’t right for you, contact us within 14 days of your first payment on a new subscription and we will refund that payment in full. This applies once per customer.
Monthly plans. After that, monthly payments are non-refundable. Cancel any time to stop the next charge.
Annual plans. After that, annual payments are non-refundable. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues to the end of the paid year.
Billing mistakes. If we charged you in error, for example a duplicate charge, we will refund the mistaken amount in full.
Where the law requires a refund, we will provide it, even if this policy says otherwise.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, including any tax charged on the refunded amount. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to show it.

Plan changes

To change plans, ask us through the support form.
Upgrades, such as Starter to Pro or monthly to annual, take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. We don’t refund the difference for the time already paid.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you to update your card. If it still cannot be collected, your subscription is suspended: you lose access until the overdue invoice is paid, but your documents and notes are kept. Update your card in Manage billing to pay the invoice and restore access. A suspended subscription is not charged again until it is paid up.

Renewal reminders

Annual subscribers receive an email reminder before each renewal.
